“I want to play for chelsea” – Brighton player questioned on potential Chelsea interest
Chelsea have just taken Brighton’s manager, and now one of their players is openly saying he would like to follow! If given the chance to make a move to Chelsea,
it would be a difficult opportunity for a lot of players to turn down, but for Leandro Trossard of Brighton, he has publicly just said that he WANTS to go and play for Chelsea.
As we know, Graham Potter has just recently made the switch, and speculation has been floating around surrounding a number of Brighton players who could potentially follow him.
Trossard has been speaking this weekend in quotes relayed below by Absolute Chelsea, and he says that if an opportunity arises for him to join Chelsea, he wants to join them.
However, he makes it clear that he would not make that move if he was then to just sit on the bench and not play regular football.
Leandro Trossard on whether he’d join #Chelsea:
“Our coach did leave for Chelsea now but speculations about me following him make no sense. If the opportunity arises, I want to go. But I want to play and not sit on the bench.” [ @Nieuwsblad_be via @Sport_Witness ] — Absolute Chelsea (@AbsoluteChelsea) September 24, 2022
